The past week got a little busy. I didn't forget about the project as it's currently occupying a large portion of my bedroom floor, but it did get pushed down to the bottom of the list. I ran out of glue, my washing machine needed to be repaired, I had to get some pegboard hung so I could start getting my apartment some semblance of organized, I rearranged my living room again (and I still hate it). You know how it goes.
I still have a piece sitting on weights on the floor, I haven't checked it yet, but I am concerned about warping. I've looked into shellac as a cost-effective alternative, which may just be necessary before painting. I haven't tested the painting process yet.
Onwards and upwards, I suppose.
